Learning Outcomes: Be able to identify the relationship between Soil, Agriculture and Climate Change. Reflect upon the impact of food waste on the planet, and what actions can be taken to reduce food waste. Carry out the Food Waste Diary exercise.
Learning Outcomes: Learn about and gain a better understanding about where food comes from and the different stages it goes through to get from farm to fork. Identify and analyse some of environmental and social issues at the different stages of the food value chain. Work collaboratively to think innovatively and creatively about how we could address a particular challenge of food production relevant to a key familiar product.
Learning Outcomes: Learn about and demonstrate the key aspects of recycling, reusing, and reducing packaging. Be able to identify the difference between ‘carbon neutral’ and ‘net zero’. Work collaboratively to analyse whether a company’s purpose is clear through their advertising.
Learning Outcomes: Develop an understanding of what ‘media’ is and why we should care that it is responsible and sustainable. Develop an understanding on how media partners are coming together to tackle key economic, environmental, and social challenges in their industry. Be able to discuss why is it so important to market responsibly.
