Last month, WildHearts hosted the fourth edition of The WildHearts Global Youth Summit during COP29, the world’s largest youth-led sustainability summit. The 2024 summit created tens of thousands of student engagements through our in-person hubs and digital resources, with WildHearts Schools Partners delivering engaging and insightful workshops on sustainability challenges. This year’s event brought together thousands of young people from across the globe, empowering them to learn, collaborate and produce innovative ideas on how they can help create a more sustainable future.
The WildHearts Global Youth Summit hubs were hosted in Glasgow, Manchester and London, with hundreds of students participating in thought-provoking workshops delivered by Nestlé, Wesleyan, Siemens, Adecco, Linklaters, Zurich and BNP Paribas.
Our in-person hubs provide invaluable guidance and mentorship to young people, working closely with global business leaders to understand and address various issues relating to sustainability. These events provide young people a platform to learn, collaborate and innovate solutions to environmental challenges.
Our digital learning resources were accessible throughout this year’s summit, enabling students from around the world to access our digital resources. Our Sustainability Lesson Plans, Sustainability Awareness Assemblies and Business for Good Podcasts were all produced in collaboration with WildHearts Schools Partners, ensuring young people have access to expertise from leading global brands.
